Agenda | 26 January 2005

The fifth World Social Forum (WSF) takes place in Porto Alegre, Brasil from 26-31 January.

The WSF is an open meeting place where groups and movements of civil society, opposed to neo-liberalism and a world dominated by capital, come together to pursue their thinking, to debate ideas democratically, and to formulate alternative proposals, grounded in universal human rights and institutions at the service of social justice, equality and the sovereignty of peoples.
